As the president and founder of Be in Health, Henry Wright oversees the work of the ministry along with his wife, Donna Wright, who is the CEO. Henry Wright founded the ministry with the purpose of carrying out the direction of Proverbs 17:22, that states, “A Merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”

Based in Thomaston, Georgia, Be in Health ministry has grown to become an international organization. The ministry provides married-couples retreats and specialty conferences across the country and around the world, including workshops like “For My Life” and the “Walkout Workshop.”

These two workshops are designed to help families create a healing and restorative environment in their homes by learning the basics of creating a healthy environment and then learning how to put those basics into action. The workshops take place over two weeks and are based on the principles and teachings of the Bible, presented in lecture and video formats.

The Role of God in Helping People Transcend Challenges and Illness

As the pastor of the Hope of the Generations Church, Dr. Henry Wright is a respected presence in the Thomaston, Georgia, community. Engaging with people with serious illnesses and relationship challenges, Dr. Henry Wright emphasizes maintaining a strong relationship with God as a vital step toward wellness and reconciliation.

The problems inherent in life itself can be transcended through viewing God as a close friend who provides support in times of need. The Creator of all things, God spread his word through Jesus Christ so that people of faith, from whatever walk of life, could lead a more abundant and fruitful existence. The challenge for people living today is to fulfill their destinies as the sons and daughters of the Lord and take full stock of the eternal gift he presents on a daily basis.

Dr. Wright notes that God is not trying to kill anyone, nor is he a force of evil. Rather, he presents a narrow way toward goodness that only those who persevere and follow his word can achieve. Dr. Wright takes inspiration from John 10:10, which states: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
